New Delhi-based Unidos Insta Print installed its second Zund digital cutting table – Zund S3- M800 – which was imported in November 2019 at its facility in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-1, New Delhi. On the other hand, Soham believes that Covid-19 is compelling companies to adopt automated technology in their operations. ‘The signage and the retail industry are not immune to this trend. The companies that don’t embrace automation and increase their digital exposure are bound to have a difficult time going forward,’ he warns.   

Similarly, Unidos Insta Print, a company that designs and manufactures POP and POS displays, also brought forth their Covid innovations in the form of foldable and portable products. Delhi-based POP and POS manufacturer Unidos Insta Print has designed and executed a corrugated booth for Vasco Travel, who participated in the 11th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar held at Jaipur.

The entire booth is made of recycled kraft corrugated and honeycomb sheet material with UV printing.

Rajeev Gujral, director of Unidos said, “Previously, for cutting operations we used to subcontract for the dies and other production processes. This delayed the overall production-cycle time. Now by investing in a Zund, outsourcing has been eliminated, and everything is produced in-house. This has resulted in accepting higher volume jobs and economic operations.”

Anyone who have travelled abroad can see lot of foldable corrugated FSUs or dispensers and it is beautifully printed in stores in China or in Europe. In the last 8-10 years, corrugated work has picked up in India.”

The material used is easy to cut, fold, crease and it allows for a variety of fabrication possibilities. The air-lock design makes the sheet lightweight.
